Applications, Guidelines and Fees

Applying for MEAC CEUs

If you have a program or conference you are sponsoring and would like to offer continuing education credit to participants, please read the guidelines thoroughly before submitting your application.  If you have any trouble downloading the guidelines please contact ceu@meacschools.org.

CEU Guidelines

!!NEW!! Electronic Submissions Only

As of June 2014, all applications for MEAC-approved continuing education must be submitted via webform.  Please note that progress is not saved if you leave the page before submitting the webform.  MEAC recommends that you have all your materials ready prior to beginning the application.  You will need:

- Information about the program sponsors

- General information about the program

- General information about each session offered

- An electronic file or URL of the program brochure or flier

- An electronic file of the evaluation form for the overall program (example: Overall Program Evaluation Form

- An electronic file of the evaluation form for sessions/speakers (example: Session-Speaker Evaluation Form )

- An electronic file of the award certificate (example: Sample Award Certificate, Sample Award Certificate Distance 

- Information on how you track program and session attendance

- Information on the Planning Committee members

- General information about each session offered

- An electronic file of the CEU session summary table for multi-sesion apps only (example: CEU Session Summary Table )

- An electronic file of the resume or CV for each speaker/presenter

- An electronic file of the post-tests used in sessions offered via distance education

- A list of all references or a bibliography used to prepare each session

When you are ready to begin, please complete and submit a Program Application and also one Session Application for each session that you offer.

CEU Fees

Please see the CEU Guidelines page 6 for the formula for calculating the CEU application fee. Payment can be made below via the “Pay Now” button or checks for the application fee can be mailed to the MEAC office, 1935 Pauline Blvd., Suite 100B, Ann Arbor, MI 48103. If your payment amount is NOT in the pull down menu below, contact the office and we will email you an invoice for payment.

Session/Speaker Application

If you are participating in a conference as a speaker and the sponsoring organization is applying to MEAC for continuing education approval, please find the “Session/Speaker Form” in the CEU Application Forms, which can be downloaded from the link above.

Continuing Education Opportunities
